The TCM420 is designed to work with all the GM line of 4 speed automatics including the RWD 4L60E, 4L70E to 4L85E and FWD 4T45E, 4T65E, 4T65E-HD and 4T80E.
This is a Fully Automatic controller it will auto shift through all forward gears once in DRIVE the same as a OEM controller.

All settings are made with the included UI-240 color programmer/monitor through a simple to navigate menu driven display and the 4 buttons. Each screen has a description of the function and we include a step by step set of instructions.

No laptop required!

The programmer is secured with a pass code to prevent unauthorized changes.

The monitor and settings screens can be easily changed to KPH and Centigrade in the settings menu.

All shift points are adjusted individually for each UP shift and DOWN shift based on MPH(or KPH) and TPS input.

There are 3 automatic shifting modes that can be individually configured and saved to Nonvolatile memory

“Normal – Sport – Track“.

It also has Manual Shifting Mode which is automatically engaged when you use a optional paddle or ratchet style shifter or the E-TransControl RockerBox and hit the UP or DOWN shift. It will return to Automatic mode if no manual shifting signal is received after a short delay.
